How do I use the Relief Blade?
Turn on the heat and let it warm up for a minute. Warm tissue responds better and feels more comfortable.
Apply a little oil, lotion, or balm to the skin first so the Blade glides instead of dragging.
Hold it at about a 30 to 45 degree angle to your skin, not straight up and down. Use slow, steady strokes, roughly one per second, along the length of the muscle, following its direction. Think of it as ironing out a tight band, not scrubbing a spot.
Keep the pressure light to moderate. More is not better. You should feel the tension working loose, not sharp pain. A little redness afterward is normal and just means blood flow increased. If anything feels sharp, ease off or lift the tool.
Five to seven minutes a day is the sweet spot. Consistent daily use does far more than one long aggressive session.

The Relief Blade is designed for the back and back sides of the neck and the upper traps and shoulders, which is exactly where most tension builds up anyway. Glide it slowly along those muscles using light to moderate pressure, and let the heat and vibration do the work rather than pressing hard.

Heat warms the muscle before you scrape so the tissue is pliable and the edge glides instead of catching. Always start here. It also feels great on its own when you just want quick, soothing relief.
Vibration loosens the surface layer of tense muscle and brings blood flow to the area, prepping it so the scraping reaches deeper, tighter tissue.
EMS is gentle electrical stimulation that encourages chronically clenched muscles to release their grip, so the scraping pass meets less resistance and does more.
